Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of silkhire.uz (the "Platform"), operated by SilkHire ("we", "our", "us"), a sole-founder project based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
By creating an account, posting a job, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Short version: Be honest, don't spam, post real jobs with real salaries, and treat other users with respect. We'll take care of the rest.

Eligibility
To use SilkHire you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
- Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law.
- Provide accurate information when creating an account.
Employers must additionally be a legally registered business entity in their country of operation.

Accounts
Registration
You must create an account to access most features of the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at silkhire.uz@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
One account per person
Each individual may maintain only one candidate account. Employers may have one account per legal entity. Creating duplicate accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
Important: We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that provides false information or violates these Terms, without prior notice.

For job seekers
As a job seeker using SilkHire you agree to:
- Provide truthful information in your profile, CV, and applications. Misrepresenting your experience or qualifications may result in account termination.
- Apply only to roles you are genuinely interested in and qualified for.
- Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to apply to listings in bulk.
- Treat employer communications with professionalism and respect.
- Not share your account access with others.
Your profile visibility: Your profile is private by default. You control exactly what employers can see and when. We will never share your contact details with an employer without your consent.

For employers
By posting a job listing on SilkHire, you agree to the following:
Listing accuracy
- All listings must include a genuine salary range in a specific currency (UZS, USD, or KZT). "Competitive salary" or equivalent vague terms are not permitted.
- Job titles, responsibilities, and requirements must accurately reflect the role.
- Listings must be removed or marked as filled within 7 days of the position being closed.
- You may not post the same role more than once simultaneously.
Candidate data
- Candidate data accessed via SilkHire may only be used for recruitment purposes related to your listed role.
- You may not add candidates to marketing lists or contact them for unrelated purposes.
- You must comply with applicable data protection laws when processing candidate information.
- You must delete candidate data upon request.
Non-discrimination
Job listings must not discriminate based on gender, age, religion, ethnicity, disability, marital status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law. SilkHire reserves the right to remove any listing that violates this policy.

Prohibited use
The following activities are strictly prohibited on SilkHire:
- Posting fake, fraudulent, or misleading job listings.
- Collecting user data through scraping, bots, or automated means.
- Using the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
- Attempting to access, modify, or disrupt our systems or infrastructure.
- Impersonating another person, company, or organization.
- Posting content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or illegal.
- Using the Platform for any purpose other than legitimate recruitment and job seeking.
- Circumventing any access controls, rate limits, or platform restrictions.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit to SilkHire (profile information, CVs, job listings, messages). By submitting content, you grant SilkHire a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and process that content as necessary to operate the Platform.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful to users, without notice.

Intellectual property
The SilkHire name, logo, platform design, source code, and all related content are the exclusive property of SilkHire and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our explicit written consent.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. Your license to use the Platform is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable.

Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We do not guarantee that any job listing is genuine, accurate, or currently available.
- We do not guarantee that you will receive job offers or that employers will respond to applications.
- We are not a party to any employment contract between you and an employer.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SilkHire and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or UZS 100,000 if you have paid nothing).
Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Termination
By you
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account will remove your profile and personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law.
Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will do so.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SilkHire shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect.
Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
